Accused involved in sexually assaulting minor girl in F-9 Park arrested

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Capital Police (ICP) has successfully detained a suspect in the alleged sexual assault of a 12-year-old child in F-9, Pakistan.

A public relations official stated on Wednesday that Sajid Ali, the apprehended accused, was the one who was named in the FIR no-186, which was filed in Margalla police station against the offender under section 376-PPC.

Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Capital City Police Officer (ICCPO) of Islamabad, took prompt note of the incident and gave orders to guarantee the accused’s arrest as soon as possible.

The SSP Investigation oversaw the formation of a special investigation team. Although the accused was able to escape the site of the crime, the police team was able to capture him.

Senior police officers commended the police team’s work and underlined that crimes against women and children are completely unacceptable and that those who commit them would face the harshest penalties possible.
