Islamabad weather forecast: Chance of rain with thunderstorm in the city

ISLAMABAD: The City is experiencing overcast conditions today. There is a possibility of rain and light snowfall in mountains, including Islamabad, Kashmir, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Upper Punjab.

According to the Department of Meteorology, the weather will remain dry in most parts of the country today, there is a possibility of rain with thunder in Murree, Galyat and surrounding areas.

Possibility of rain with thunder in and around Islamabad, Zhob, Musa Khel, Chaman Ziarat and Quetta are also predicted today.

Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, Sargodha, Faisalabad, Lahore, Gujranwala, Bhakkar, Leh, Thal are likely to experience thundershowers.

Rain is also expected in Chitral, Dir, Swat, Abbottabad, Mansehra, Haripur, Kohistan, Shangla, Buner, Bajaur, Kirk, Khyber, Peshawar, Charsadda, Nowshera, Swabi, Mardan, Kurram, Kohat, Waziristan and Bannu.

The Meteorological Department also predicted rain in some areas of Gilgit-Baltistan, Azad Kashmir and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
