KARACHI: Chicken prices have decreased in different cities, while prices have increased in others.
In Lahore, the wholesale rate of live broiler chicken per kg has been fixed at Rs 379, while the retail rate is Rs 393 per kg, the price of broiler meat per kg has been fixed at Rs 569, in Lahore the price of meat has been reduced by Rs 8, while live chicken has become cheaper by Rs 5 per kg. Eggs are available at Rs 330 per dozen.
In Multan, the wholesale rate of live broiler chicken is Rs 374 per kg, while the retail rate is Rs 388, the price of broiler meat has been fixed at Rs 563 per kg, chicken meat has become cheaper by Rs 8 in Multan. Eggs are being sold at Rs 294 per dozen.
In Faisalabad, the wholesale rate of broiler meat has been set at Rs 364 per kg, while the retail rate has been set at Rs 378. The price of broiler meat per kg is Rs 548. Chicken meat in Faisalabad has become more expensive by Rs 7 per kg, and the price of eggs per dozen has been set at Rs 333.
