ISLAMABAD: A scuffle broke out between two air hostesses of Pakistan International Airlines at Jeddah Airport after a heated argument, following which the PIA administration has suspended both air hostesses.
According to sources, the altercation between two female air hostesses of a PIA flight from Jeddah to Multan began at the international departure lounge of Jeddah Airport.
Initially, harsh words were exchanged, after which the matter escalated and the two ended up in a scuffle.
After the incident, a PIA officer reached the spot and intervened and prevented the matter from escalating further.
Confirming the incident, a PIA spokesperson said that the incident took place on December 23. The administration has taken immediate notice and suspended both air hostesses, while an inquiry into the matter has also been initiated.
According to the spokesperson, the national airline does not compromise on discipline and professional behavior, and action will be taken against those responsible as per the regulations.
