Breaking Bad star Giancarlo Esposito converts to Islam

ISLAMABAD: Hollywood actor Giancarlo Esposito has converted to Islam while in Saudi Arabia, according to Turki Al-Sheikh, chairman of the General Entertainment Authority of Saudi Arabia.

According to Turki Al-Sheikh, Giancarlo Esposito converted to Islam after reciting the shahadah and then prayed in a mosque with other members of the film crew.

A video has also surfaced on social media in which he can be seen praying inside a mosque with other members of the film crew. After this video, the news of his conversion to Islam spread rapidly around the world.

According to Turki Al-Sheikh, the actor’s decision to convert to Islam is the result of the good time he spent in Saudi Arabia and his interaction with Muslims while working there.

Turki Al-Sheikh said that the American actor has greatly appreciated the good manners, love and hospitality of the people there, which he experienced himself during the shooting.

Giancarlo Esposito is currently in Saudi Arabia to shoot a major film, ‘Seven Dogs’. This film is being considered one of the major international projects to be made in Saudi Arabia.

Giancarlo Esposito is known worldwide for his famous role of “Gus Fring”, which he played in the popular TV series ‘Breaking Bad’. This role brought him international fame and also received several award nominations.
