LAHORE: Chicken prices have increased sharply across major cities, adding to the financial burden on households

In Lahore, the price of chicken has crossed Rs 580 per kilogram, while Karachi has recorded rates as high as Rs 640 per kilogram. In Peshawar, chicken is being sold at around Rs 425 per kilogram.

Consumers say the continuous rise in poultry prices has made it difficult to manage daily food expenses, with no immediate relief in sight.
