DUBAI Work Permit 2024: The United Arab Emirates has made it much easier for workers in the private sector to apply for work permits and residency visas.
In an effort to expedite the issuing of work permits and residency visas, the UAE government launched the “Work Bundle” portal, which combines the services of multiple agencies. The project was first introduced in Dubai and will be expanded in the upcoming stage.
The Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security, the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai, Dubai Health, and the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratization are among the organizations involved. The initiative provides a single platform for employment services such renewal, termination, medical inspection, and fingerprinting. Its goal is to facilitate private enterprises.

Instead of 15 steps and 16 papers, the needed actions and documents to get a work permit and resident visa have been lowered to 5 steps and 5 documents alone. The duration has been shortened to five working days from thirty working days.
