Flour prices increase sharply in a week

LAHORE: The price of Chaman flour has increased significantly in the past week.

The price of a 100-kilogram sack of flour has increased by Rs. 2500 in the past week.

According to the Market Association, flour has become expensive due to the cessation of flour supply from Punjab, and the increase in flour prices has increased the anxiety of the people.

Flour prices have increased immensely in the border district, the price of 50 kg of flour sold a week ago has suddenly increased from Rs. 1,000,000 to Rs. 1,200.

The district administration seems to be failing to control the rate, citizens say that the poor people are now unable to buy flour, the price of a 50 kg sack has increased from Rs. 5,000 to Rs. 6,300.
