Huge reduction in mobile phone prices in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: More than 30 domestic and foreign mobile phone manufacturing companies in Pakistan reduced mobile phone prices from 500 rupees to 10 thousand rupees on Sunday.

Mobile Phone Association and the market sources have confirmed that companies have not only lowered the prices of smartphones but significantly reduced the prices of button phones, including feature phones by Rs 100 to Rs 500.

According to the market sources, the sales targets of the mobile phone companies operating in the country are not being met due to the slowdown of the country’s economy. Due to this, the prices of mobile phones are being reduced significantly.

The representatives of the mobile phone companies have confirmed that the reason for reducing the rates significantly is trying to stabilize the mobile phone industry in the Pakistani market. It should be noted that currently more than 20 lakh mobile phones are being manufactured in Pakistan.
