DUBAI: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released its latest player rankings, with Pakistan’s Saim Ayub moving ahead of all all-rounders.
In the Test batters’ rankings, Pakistan’s Saud Shakeel has moved up one spot to ninth position. Joe Root continues to hold the top spot, followed by Kane Williamson in second place and Steve Smith in third.
According to the ICC rankings, Australia’s Mitchell Starc has climbed one place to second among bowlers. Pakistan’s Nauman Ali is ranked fourth, while India’s Jasprit Bumrah remains at number one.
In ODI batters’ rankings, Rohit Sharma has retained the top position, Virat Kohli is second, while Pakistan’s Babar Azam stands at sixth.
In the T20I batters’ rankings, Pakistan’s Sahibzada Farhan has slipped one place to sixth. India’s Abhishek Sharma continues to lead the rankings, while Tilak Varma has jumped two spots to reach fourth position. Meanwhile, Babar Azam has dropped one place to 31st in T20I rankings.
