Islamabad weather forecast: Rain/thunderstorm expected in the city

ISLAMABAD: Cloudy weather with chances of rain-wind/ thunderstorm is expected in Islamabad and surrounding.

Forecast of a new series of rains across the city and the country.

According to the Meteorological Department, the series of western winds will enter from the western parts of the country today and will cover the upper and central parts by tomorrow.

Rain is expected in 16 districts of Balochistan from today to March 29.

Thunderstorm likely to occur in Sukkur, Jacobabad, Kashmore, Larkana and Dadu on Thursday and Friday, Punjab, KP, GB and Kashmir also likely to experience rain from today till March 31.

Dry weather prevailed in most parts of the country while partly cloudy in upper/central parts. However, rain-thunderstorm occurred at isolated places in Pothohar region, south Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Rainfall (mm): Punjab Karoor (Layyah) 04, Jhang, Toba Tek Singh 02, Bhakkar 01, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: Dera Ismail Khan (City) 01.
