Karachi Included among Cheapest Cities

The Economist Intelligence Unit has released the list of the most expensive and cheapest cities in 2023.

From August 14 to September 11, 2023, the EIU conducted a survey of lifestyle expenditures worldwide.

173 countries were included in this survey, according to this survey Zurich was declared as the most expensive city in the world.

Among the cheapest cities in the world, the cheapest city was Damascus, which is the capital of Syria, and Tehran, the city of Iran, was ranked second.

Libya’s city of Tripoli was on the third place, while Pakistan’s city of Karachi was on the fourth place among the cheapest cities in the world.

Tashkent is fifth, the capital of Tunisia is sixth, while Zambia’s city of Lusa is in seventh position, two cities in India are among the first ten cheapest cities, Ahmedabad is eighth and Chennai is tenth.
