Karachi weather forecast: Karachities to endure scorching summer

KARACHI: The Meteorological Department predicts hot, dry weather for Sindh, with highs of 35 to 36 degrees Celsius predicted in Karachi.

Karachi locals are bracing themselves for a significant temperature spike in March that will resemble the scorching May heat. Alerts have been released by the meteorological department indicating that temperatures in the following days may rise to as high as 36 degrees Celsius.

Given Karachi’s reputation for having a sunny weather, it is expected to be hot and dry with little likelihood of rain throughout the day.

Given that this weather pattern is predicted to last for the next 24 hours, it is critical that locals take preventative measures to avoid heat-related issues.

25 degrees Celsius is the lowest temperature ever recorded in Karachi, underscoring the substantial change that is anticipated with the approaching hot.

However, relief may be on the horizon as the department predicts a chance of rain in the province sans Karachi on March 28 and 29.

Rainfall is expected in places like Sukkur, Jacobabad, Kashmore, Larkana, and Dadu, providing relief from the intense heat.

The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) has warned farmers and visitors to be on the lookout for possible rains.

The public has also been urged by the PDMA to take the appropriate safety measures in order to reduce any potential risks.
