Senior Pakistani television actor Khalid Hafeez Khan death has saddened fans across the country.
The veteran performer passed away early Monday at 1:30 a.m. in Islamabad, according to close colleagues.
Khalid Hafeez Khan was best known for his role as Mr. Shamim in the classic PTV drama Guest House.
The news of Khalid Hafeez Khan death was first shared on social media by his Guest House co-star Afzal Khan.
Later, fellow actors Bushra Ansari and Nauman Masood also confirmed the development.
The actor had been residing in Islamabad with his family for several years.
Khalid Hafeez Khan gained nationwide recognition through Guest House, one of Pakistan Television’s most popular drama series.
His portrayal of Mr. Shamim earned him lasting appreciation from viewers.
Apart from Guest House, he appeared in drama serials such as Silsilay.
He also worked in long plays, including Nishan-e-Haider: Captain Mohammad Sarwar Shaheed.
