Khamenei relocated to underground bunker amid US Attack Fears

TEHRAN: Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has been moved to a special underground bunker in Tehran in response to fears of a possible US attack.

According to the opposition-affiliated website Iran International, Iranian military and security officials assessed the increased risk of a US attack, after which Khamenei was moved to a secure and fortified underground facility.

According to the website, the place is a fortress-like place with interconnected tunnels.

The website further said that the Supreme Leader’s third son, Massoud Khamenei, has taken over the day-to-day running of Khamenei’s office.
