ISLAMABAD: The Higher Education Commission has implemented an online system for verification of degrees.
According to HEC, there will be no need to visit HEC offices for degree verification, applicants will have to apply online for verification.
The new system will come into effect from May 1st, which will significantly reduce time and costs, while degree holders will also be relieved from visiting offices.
It should be noted that earlier, the physical presence of the candidate was mandatory for verification of the degree. According to an estimate, millions of people get their degrees verified from HEC every year.
