Parvez Elahi denies reports of joining PPP

LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Central President and former Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Parvez Elahi has denied reports of joining PPP.

A journalist asked Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi that there are reports of his joining PPP, to which he said, “Fear God, I have no connection with PPP.”

Earlier, Chaudhry Parvez Elahi visited the Raiwind Tablighi Markaz and expressed his condolences to Maulana Ehsan-ul-Haq’s sons Maulvi Aamir Ehsan, Maulvi Umar Ahmed and Maulvi Asim Ehsan on the death of his wife. Mufti Ahmed Ali, Rasikh Elahi and others were also present.

Chaudhary Parvez Elahi said while talking that he was very saddened by the death of his mother, my prayers are with him, it is indeed very difficult to bear the shock of separation from his mother, may Allah give you the courage to bear this grief and elevate the ranks of the deceased.

Parvez Elahi, Mufti Ahmed Ali and Rasikh Elahi later met Ameer Tablighi Jamaat Maulana Nazar-ur-Rehman and later offered Fateha at the grave of Maulana Abdul Wahab.
