As the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL 9) entered its knock-out stage, Multan Sultans will face Peshawar Zalmi in the first Qualifier today at National Bank Cricket Arena in Karachi.
Today’s encounter between the top two teams of the tournament will decide the first finalist of the tournament.
Multan Sultans throughout the campaign remained a top-notch team and also was the first side to qualify for the playoffs, winning seven games, while Babar Azam’s Peshawar Zalmi finished second, winning six games.

Yellow Storm ended their league stage in a thrilling match against the Karachi Kings in which they narrowly defeated Kings by 2 runs.
On the other hand, Sultans displayed a commanding performance against former champions Quetta Gladiators in their last league game of PSL 2024.
As per previous matches, Karachi’s pitch favored bowlers, but because it is a knockout game, a fresh surface is expected to be created.
