LAHORE: The Punjab Home Department has imposed a complete ban on flying outdoor drones across the province. The ban on flying drones in open air under Section 144 has been extended by 30 days.
The Punjab government has imposed a ban on the use of drones in view of security concerns. Limited use of small drones is allowed during events inside halls and marquees.
The responsibility for the safe use of drones in indoor events will lie with the organizers. Law enforcement and intelligence agencies have been exempted from the ban.
