Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Vice Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi challenged the conviction in cipher case in the Islamabad High Court on Friday.
The former foreign minister filed an appeal in the IHC against the 10-year jail sentence, awarded to him by a special court in the cipher case.

As per details, Shah Mehmood Qureshi in his plea requested IHC to declare the Jan 30 conviction verdict in the cipher case null and void. Shah Mehmood Qureshi’s lawyers Salman Safdar, Ali Bukhari, and Taimur Malik filed an appeal.
A special court established under the Official Secrets Acts sentenced ex-foreign minister Qureshi and PTI founder Imran Khan to 10 years in prison on January 30.
