KARACHI: Humaira Asghar‘s landlord has come out with his version of events, shedding light on a legal dispute spanning several years.
The landlord revealed that Humaira Asghar first rented the apartment in 2018. While her initial contract expired in 2019, the actress remained silent on whether she intends to renew it.
He claimed that several complaints were received about Humaira’s alleged involvement in the dispute and when she was asked to vacate the space, she allegedly refused.
The landlord said, “In 2021, we filed a case with the CBC (Cantonment Board Clifton).” Notices were sent to Humaira in both Lahore and Karachi but we did not receive any response.
He added that the court ruled in his favor, despite the legal notices, the apartment was never vacated. He said that the last rent payment was made in May 2024.
