Bollywood’s Dhurandhar sequel to hit screens in 2026

MUMBAI: The sequel to Bollywood’s famous anti-Pakistan film Dhurandhar “The Revenge” has been scheduled for a regular release date of March 19, 2026.

According to Indian media, the second part of the film was hinted at in the end post-credits scene of the first part, which was released on December 5, 2025.

The sequel details the past life and background of the main character, Hamza/Jaskrit, played by Ranveer Singh.

The story shows how Jaskrit goes from a death row prisoner to a trained agent under the supervision of Ajay Sunil, the head of the Indian intelligence agency.

The film presents the character’s journey with emotional depth, where he faces difficult decisions between his ambitions, loyalty, and the negative effects of power in the Lyari area of ​​​​Karachi.

The film’s release has been timed to coincide with Eid as well as the Indian festivals of Gudi Padwa and Ugadi, making it a major holiday film.

According to reports, while the first part of the film was released only in Hindi, the sequel will be released simultaneously in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.

The film is being produced in collaboration with JIO Studios and B62 Studios. The sequel’s story picks up from the thrilling ending of the first part and revolves around the theme of revenge hinted at in the credits.
