LAHORE: A case has been registered against well-known social media influencer Nadeem Mubarak, who is known as Naniwala on social media, at the Defense C police station.

According to the police, the case has been registered under various sections including violation of traffic rules, reckless driving, interference in government affairs and threatening government employees.

According to the FIR registered by the police, during the checking, a luxury vehicle was signaled to stop, but instead of stopping, the driver of the vehicle accelerated and drove the vehicle onto a one-way road. The vehicle did not even have a number plate, due to which an attempt was made to stop it.

The FIR further stated that when the police personnel pursued the vehicle, the accused allegedly tried to hit the police vehicle, which further aggravated the situation. After the incident, a formal case was registered under the complaint of the traffic police and legal action was initiated.

The Defense Sea Police say that the incident is being investigated from all aspects and action will be taken according to the law.

On the other hand, traffic authorities have made it clear that a crackdown will continue against those driving without number plates, using substandard number plates and illegally flashing blue or green lights.

Officials say that the law is equal for all, no exemption will be given to anyone violating traffic rules, regardless of their sector or status.
