SHUJAHABAD: A Crime Control Department (CCD) of Punjab Police has arrested renowned TikToker Hakeem Shehzad on Friday.
He was arrested at his residence in Shujabad near Multan, according to media reports. He was arrested after his offensive remarks went viral on social media, as per reports.
Earlier, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) had arrested Muhammad Shahzad Hakeem, a social media personality and husband of Amir Liaquat’s ex-wife Dania Shah, in connection with the alleged rape case due to his objectionable video statement.
According to the FIA spokesperson, the Cyber Crime Circle Multan arrested Muhammad Shahzad alias Lohar Hakeem, who, along with his accomplices, made obscene remarks about the alleged incident of abuse at a private college in Lahore and shared videos on the internet.
FIA, in a statement, added that a case has been registered against the accused and legal proceedings have been initiated.
