NEW DHELI: It’s the end of an era for fans of India’s longest-running crime series, CID. After over two decades of thrilling cases, the show may be heading towards its most emotional moment – the death of ACP Pradyuman, played by Shivaji Satam.

Since 1998, Satam has portrayed the sharp and courageous head of the CID team, becoming a household name with iconic catchphrases like “Daya, darwaza tod do” Break the door and “Kuch toh gadbad hai Daya” There is something fishy.

In an upcoming episode, ACP Pradyuman faces a villainous plot by Barbossa, leading to a bomb blast that the team narrowly escapes, but Pradyuman doesn’t survive.

The emotional episode has already been filmed and is set to air soon on Sony TV and Netflix. Fans are grieving online, hoping for a possible comeback.

This twist has sparked speculation that it might be the show’s finale. Despite previous resurrections, no plans have been confirmed for ACP Pradyuman’s return. Shivaji Satam’s contribution to CID has made the show a beloved favorite.

With CID: Season 2 still streaming and an animated spin-off, CID Squad, for younger audiences, fans await what’s next for this iconic series
