MUMBAI: Bollywood superstars Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh were spotted leaving the hospital with their newborn daughter today, as the first photos of the family surfaced online.

The couple, who welcomed their baby girl on Sunday, September 8, confirmed their paternity news through a joint Instagram post. After spending a week in the hospital, Deepika has been discharged and is back home with her husband and daughter.

Since then, pictures and videos of the family have been doing the rounds, showing a glimpse of the new parents in their car, with Deepika holding her baby while Ranveer looks on.

In one video, several vehicles are seen leaving the hospital, believed to be part of the couple’s convoy. According to Indian media reports, Ranveer Singh’s family is also gathered at the couple’s house to welcome the new member of their family.

Deepika and Ranveer tied the knot in 2018 in an intimate ceremony in Italy. Earlier this year, the couple announced they were expecting their first child in September.
