KARACHI: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has issued a weather forecast for Karachi, predicting a dry spell with no rainfall expected over the next 10 days.
Today, Karachi will experience hot and humid conditions, with temperatures ranging from 29°C to 27°C. However, the city will witness more sunshine, leading to a rise in temperatures. The humidity in the city varies up to 64% and the air is moving in the northwest direction at the speed of 23 km/h.
According to the Met Office, there is a possibility of rain accompanied by strong winds and thunder in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan.
Residents of Karachi are advised to take necessary precautions to stay safe during this period, such as staying hydrated, avoiding outdoor activities during peak sun hours, and using protective gear like hats and sunglasses.
