KARACHI: Gold prices in Pakistan reached unprecedented levels on Wednesday, surpassing previous records. The price of gold per tola jumped by Rs2,300, reaching a new all-time high of Rs264,000, while the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs1,972, settling at Rs226,337, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
This significant surge follows a rise of Rs1,300 on Tuesday, which saw the price reach Rs261,700. The upward trend is attributed to gains in global markets, with gold prices increasing internationally as well.
