ISLAMABAD: Renowned singer and TV host Fakhr-e-Alam was involved in a serious road accident earlier today when his car collided with a truck while on his way to a shoot. The incident took place on the outskirts of Chiniot where the truck took an unexpected U-turn, causing Fakhr-e-Alam’s vehicle to meet with a serious accident.

Taking to social media to share the details, Fakhr-e-Alam expressed his relief at surviving the horrific accident, calling it “nothing short of a miracle.” The singer-turned-host used the opportunity to urge the public to strictly follow traffic rules, stressing the importance of wearing seat belts and reporting reckless drivers to the authorities. He called on law enforcement agencies to take strict action against negligent drivers to prevent such accidents on the roads.

Fakhr-e-Alam’s accident is not the first time he has faced an unpleasant incident. Just a few months ago, the popular entertainer narrowly escaped another traffic accident. However, he continues to advocate for road safety and adherence to traffic regulations.

In a separate incident, Fakhr-e-Alam’s house in Karachi’s Darakhshan area was robbed earlier this week. Police investigations into the robbery have revealed that several people, including the house’s watchman and a contract worker, were involved in planning and executing the crime. Initial reports suggest that the suspects looted valuables including jewellery, expensive watches, cash and foreign currency. Police have arrested two suspects — watchman Latif and electrician Muhammad Zia — while the other suspects are absconding.

CCTV footage from the area is currently being reviewed, and authorities are expanding their investigation based on eyewitness statements. Efforts are on to arrest the remaining suspects involved in the robbery.

As Fakhr-e-Alam recovers from the horrific accident, his supporters are expressing solidarity with him, and his calls for increased safety measures on the roads continue to resonate.
