LAHORE: The Crime Control Department (CCD) Lahore has arrested renowned TikToker Kashif Zameer along with his bodyguards on Public display of arms, according to media reports.

The CCD has recovered firearms from the TikToker and has lodged a First Information Report (FIR) against the accused at Iqbal Town Station.

Zameer, with his bodyguards, has gone viral on social media, where they showcase their brandishing weapons in public.

However, this is not the first time that the accused has been apprehended. He had been behind bars several times before in different cases, including fraud.

The arrest happened as Punjab experiences increased security measures. Because of security concerns during Muharram-ul-Haram, the provincial administration has implemented Section 144 from June 27 to July 6, 2025, (1st to 10th Muharram).

Weapons and combustible materials cannot be displayed in public areas without permission, according to Section 144.

Along with these limitations, pillion riding will be forbidden, with exceptions made for women, the elderly, and law enforcement personnel. From the first to the tenth day of Muharram, all restrictions will be in effect across Punjab.
