Hamza Ali Abbasi clarifies his statement on leaving showbiz

KARACHI: A Famous actor of the Pakistani film and drama industry, Hamza Ali Abbasi, has clarified his statement about leaving the showbiz industry.

Hamza Ali Abbasi had made a statement in 2019 about leaving the showbiz industry to get closer to Islam, after which he did not appear in any drama or film industry for a long time.

The actor also talked about his temporary departure from showbiz and Islamic ideology in various interviews.

Recently, the actor in an interview clarified his statement about leaving showbiz and said that I did not say goodbye to showbiz in my video; I said that I have reached some conclusions about God and the hereafter, and I want to know about it, for which I am taking a break from showbiz.

He further clarified that it should not be understood that I am leaving the arts for the sake of Islam.

He said that I follow scholar Javed Ahmed Ghamdi, I had also taken the name of the interpretation of Islam with which I agree, according to which the arts are permissible while living within a certain morality, so it should not be understood that I am leaving showbiz.

Hamza Ali Abbasi further said that he also went to study with him in Dallas, Texas, USA. I was in shock as I found that there were headlines in the news that I had left showbiz, as no one had watched the entire video.
