ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Railways has announced an increase in fares for its express trains, freight services, and saloon coaches, effective June 20, 2025.
According to a spokesperson, express trains and saloons will see a 3% hike, while freight train fares will rise by 4%.
The fare revision has been formally notified, and railway authorities say the move is intended to balance rising operational expenses and generate additional resources for service improvements.
