Laiba Khan, the talented and popular Pakistani television actress known for her roles in hit dramas like “Mera Dil Mera Dushman” and “Baylagaam,” recently addressed the controversy surrounding her statement against TikToker Rabeeca Khan during an appearance on The Talk Talk Show hosted by Hassan Choudhary.
In the show, Laiba Khan explained her perspective, stating, “Actually, Rabeeca Khan was awarded in 2019, at that time our dramas were also airing on television, other actors (like me) were also struggling, and we got to know about the Tiktokers being awarded in an award show. It was disappointing for us. I was genuinely concerned about it.”
Expressing her disappointment, Laiba emphasized that there are hardworking individuals in the acting industry who often go unnoticed. She questioned the awarding of TikTokers without recognizing the efforts of actors creating meaningful content.
