Maryam Nawaz’s traditional look steals show at Junaid Safdar’s mehndi

LAHORE: The wedding celebration of Junaid Safdar has created a buzz on social media platforms as the pictures of the bride and the groom have been widely shared.

However, the Chief Minister of Punjab, Maryam Nawaz, remains the highlight of the mehndi event in stunning traditional attire.

The picture of CM Punjab has received a lot of praise all over social media with positive public comments.

Former Prime Minister can also be seen in traditional Pakistani Shalwar Kameez at the event alongside the senior provincial minister Maryam Auranzaib.

Moreover, the sister of Maryam Nawaz, Asma Nawaz, can also be seen in a beautiful red attire.

Earlier, The wedding celebrations of Junaid Safdar, grandson of PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif and son of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, have officially begun.

The mehendi ceremony was held at Jati Umra late at night, which was attended by close relatives and dignitaries of both families.

The ceremony was held traditionally and pleasantly, in which the famous dancer Wahab Shah was specially invited. Wahab Shah performed at the mehendi function, which was well appreciated by the participants.

A banquet was arranged for about 350 guests at the mehendi ceremony. The Sharif family preferred traditional and indigenous flavors in the preparation of the food.

The guests were treated to soup, chicken stew, dal gosht, potato gosht, white rice, barbecue, carrot halwa, and dal halwa.

According to the schedule of wedding ceremonies, Junaid Safdar’s baraat will leave for Lake City today, January 17, at 1 pm, to which the Sharif family and close relatives have been invited.

A banquet has been arranged for about 400 guests on the occasion of the baraat.

Junaid Safdar’s walima will be held on January 18 at Jati Umra Farms, in which 800 guests have been invited. Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, federal and provincial ministers, and other important political and social figures are expected to attend the walima ceremony.
