Maryam Nawaz’s skilled youth program expands to empower educated rural women

LAHORE: Maryam Nawaz’s Skilled Youth Program has intensified its drive to empower educated rural women. Applications for Round 3 will begin soon.

According to the Punjab Skills Development Fund, this program is the first of its kind digital skills course that will enable women to build meaningful careers from home.

The women included in the program will be provided with six months of certified digital training, which will include guidance from expert instructors.

Along with this, the women will be given a monthly stipend of Rs. 5,000 and an internet and device allowance of Rs. 7,000, so that they have every necessary facility for success.

To participate in the program, the candidate must have at least 16 years of education, be between the ages of 21 and 40, and be a resident of rural Punjab. Passing the entry test is mandatory. The last date for applying has been set for January 20, 2026.

This program not only provides women with an opportunity to learn skills but is also a step towards making them independent and economically strong.
