Mawra Hussain & Ameer Gilani celebrate their wedding: Photos inside

ISLAMABAD: Pakistani showbiz stars Mawra Hussain and actor Ameer Gilani have officially tied the knot. The couple shared beautiful pictures from their wedding on Mawra’s Instagram, giving fans a glimpse into their happy occasion.

The pictures were taken at the famous Lahore Fort, and Mawra wrote a heartwarming caption with the hashtag #MawraAmeerHoGayi (Mawra is now Ameer’s): “And amidst all the chaos, I found you”.

Speculations about the wedding had been rife for some time, with media personality Irfan confirming that Mawra and Ameer are set to tie the knot in February 2025. He also revealed that celebrations have begun in Lahore and Islamabad.

In previous interviews, Mawra had spoken highly of Ameer, calling him an “amazing person” and revealing their close friendship. She had said that it was only natural for two friends to decide to get married if they were so inclined.

Mawra and Amir became a favorite on-screen pair after their hit dramas Sabt (2020) and Naeem (2023). Off-screen, they have often been spotted together at events, further fueling the excitement surrounding their relationship. Both the stars also earned law degrees from international universities and were classmates during their studies.
