Naseebo Lal becomes mother at age of 56?

KARACHI: Speculations had been floating on social media suggesting that renowned Pakistani folk singer Naseebo Lal had delivered a baby boy.

The rumors started when a video clip went viral where the singer is seen holding a baby in her arms in a hospital, fondly calling him her son. Even her husband was present with her in the maternity ward, and both seemed ecstatic.

After the video, social media users started posting unverified information that the 56-year-old singer had given birth.

But Naseebo Lal’s family made things clear, stating that the singer had indeed become a grandmother, as her son Murad had a baby.

Naseebo Lal clarified, “The baby is my son’s child — but he feels like my own son, which is why I said that.”
