ISLAMABAD: Pakistani social media influencer Zulqarnain Sikandar, known for his engaging TikTok content and family blogs, was unexpectedly detained by police during a friend’s wedding ceremony.
Zulqarnain, who claims a massive online following with 17.8 million TikTok fans, 2 million Instagram followers, and nearly 3 million YouTube subscribers, revealed that he was arrested without any apparent reason. He was detained for about seven to eight hours, leaving his family and friends in shock.
Expressing his frustration over the ordeal, Zulqarnain shared his side of the story via a video on social media. “Anything is possible in this country, and I am unaware of those who are trying to defame me. They have filed a fake FIR against me and I will explain the matter in detail soon,” he said.
Seemingly distraught in the touching video, he criticized the behavior of those involved. Zulqarnain also shared a written statement detailing the incident, further emphasizing the lack of justification for his arrest.
This unexpected turn of events has left his fans worried and sparked an online debate about the abuse of power. Supporters of the digital creator are eagerly waiting for him to share more details and take the necessary action to clear his name.
As the incident unfolds, Zulqarnain’s stand against what he calls a “fake FIR” highlights the challenges public figures face in dealing with legal and social pressure.
