LONDON: The UK Home Department has cancelled the visa of famous Pakistani YouTuber and TikToker Rajab Butt, who had been in hiding for months due to cases registered in Pakistan.

According to sources, the reason for the cancellation of the visa is that Rajab Butt submitted incomplete documents with his visa application.

It is now unclear whether Rajab Butt will return to Pakistan or head to another country, as he may face trial for allegedly promoting a gambling app.

This development came after Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi recently held an important meeting with British High Commissioner Jane Marriott in Islamabad.

In the meeting, both sides discussed in detail the return of Pakistanis illegally residing in Pakistan. During this, the Interior Minister handed over the extradition papers of Shahzad Akbar and Adil Raja to the British High Commissioner by the Pakistani government.

Earlier, while holding a press conference, Mohsin Naqvi said that those who are sitting outside and spreading fake news through social media think that they will get protection, but this is not possible.

It should be noted that Rajab Butt is allegedly accused of insulting Islamic figures, for which a petition has been filed against him in the Lahore High Court. The petition has taken the position that in the social media video, Rajab Butt said insulting words in the honor of the companions and apart from this, he is facing several cases.
