Revised gas supply timetable announced for Quetta
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has directed authorities to ensure there is an uninterrupted gas supply for domestic consumers from 5 am to 10 pm during winter.
According to the Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, this measure would help improve uninterrupted gas supply in residential areas, confronting seasonal shortages.
Addressing the National Assembly, Federal Petroleum Minister Ali Pervaiz Malik said that the Prime Minister issued clear instructions to ensure smooth service for households. He mentioned that the gas load-shedding has reduced considerably compared to last year.
The minister informed the House that the government addressed 70 to 80 percent of the 80,000 to 90,000 complaints called in last month, the majority of them related to Ogra. He added that any new complaints about pressure issues would be addressed promptly.
