KOREA: Rumors surrounding the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra’s design overhaul have been circulating for months, with a focus on a more ergonomic form factor.

Recent leaks suggest that Samsung has achieved a remarkable balance between comfort and portability. The upcoming S25 Ultra is expected to be thinner and lighter than its predecessors, outdoing even the iPhone 16 Pro Max and Google Pixel 9 Pro XL in terms of slimness and weight.

While Apple’s new products are kept secret until its September 9th unveiling, the Pixel 9 Pro XL serves as a useful benchmark, measuring 8.5mm in thickness and weighing 221g.

In comparison, the current Galaxy S24 Ultra measures 8.6mm in thickness and weighs 232g. Industry insiders predict that the S25 Ultra will boast a maximum thickness of 8.4mm and weigh 220g or less.

Moreover, renowned leaker Ice Universe claims that the S25 Ultra will surpass all upcoming “Ultra” flagship phones, including those from Oppo, Xiaomi, and Vivo, in terms of slimness and lightness.

If true, this would be a significant achievement for Samsung, solidifying the S25 Ultra’s position as a leader in the market.
