6.6 magnitude earthquake in Indonesia, one person killed
A 6.6-magnitude earthquake struck Indonesia, killing one person, but no tsunami alert was issued.
According to the Chinese News Agency, the Meteorology and Geophysics Agency of the country said that severe earthquake tremors were felt in the province of North Maluku in Indonesia, the intensity of which was recorded at 6.6 on the Richter scale.

The agency said tremors were felt in West Hilmaura and North Hilmaura districts in North Maluku province, as well as Manadu city, Batong city, Manahasa district and Sitaru district in North Sulawesi province.
