Dubai Doha Blasts were heard for the second straight day on Sunday as tensions in the Gulf region continued to rise.
Explosions were reported in Dubai and Qatar’s capital Doha. Oman was also hit for the first time after drones targeted Duqm port.
Iran had earlier warned it would strike US bases in the region. However, several Gulf cities came under attack following US and Israeli strikes on Iran.
In Dubai, two people were injured when debris from intercepted drones fell on two houses. Officials confirmed that emergency teams responded quickly.
Some damage was reported at Dubai International Airport, the Burj Al Arab hotel, and Palm Jumeirah Island. Smoke was seen rising from the Jebel Ali port area after a berth caught fire due to missile debris.
In Oman, two drones targeted Duqm commercial port. One worker was injured, according to state media.
Qatar’s Interior Ministry said defence systems intercepted missiles. Debris caused a small fire in an industrial zone, which was later controlled.
Explosions were also reported in Bahrain, Kuwait, and parts of Abu Dhabi. Bahrain stated that the US Fifth Fleet service centre faced a missile strike.
Witnesses in Abu Dhabi said loud booms shook windows in residential areas. Authorities are monitoring the situation closely.
The recent attacks follow earlier US and Israeli strikes on Iran. Tehran has denied seeking nuclear weapons but remains in dispute over its missile and nuclear programmes.
Regional tensions remain high as diplomatic efforts continue to prevent further escalation.
