TEHRAN: Iranian presidential spokesperson confirmed that Masoud Pezeshkian is completely safe and unharmed following the assassination of Iran’s Supreme Leader. A condolence message from President Pezeshkian will be issued in honor of the late leader.
In his statement, the Iranian president described the martyrdom of the Supreme Leader as “an open act of war against Muslims worldwide” and emphasized that Iran reserves the right to take revenge against those responsible for this historic crime. He further stated that seeking retribution is both an Islamic duty and a legal right.
