According to international media reports, Iran targeted US military bases located in Gulf states, including Kuwait and Qatar. The incident increased tension across the region.
In Kuwait, authorities suspended Taraweeh prayer gatherings across the country. The Ministry of Islamic Affairs said the decision was taken due to the current security situation.
Officials stated that public safety remains the top priority. They added that the situation is under review and religious activities will resume once conditions improve.
At the same time, Qatar temporarily banned collective Iftar events and other public gatherings. The move came after reports of explosions heard in the sky over Doha during the day.
Qatari authorities also suspended entertainment and public programs in hotels and tourist areas. These steps were described as preventive measures.
Due to rising tensions, Qatar announced work from home for all government employees. The Civil Service and Government Development Bureau directed ministries and public institutions to allow staff to work remotely.
Reports also said that debris from missiles or intercepted projectiles fell in different areas of Qatar. Following this, officials tightened safety protocols further.
The developments show how regional governments are responding quickly to maintain stability and ensure public protection amid growing tensions.
