The Imran Khan eyesight issue has triggered a fresh dispute between his family and the government, with both sides giving conflicting accounts about his health condition in jail.

Imran Khan, who is currently imprisoned at Adiala Jail, reportedly told his wife Bushra Bibi that his vision is getting worse. According to family sources, he shared these concerns during a recent prison meeting and expressed dissatisfaction with the medical care provided.

This statement came shortly after Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi said in a press conference that the former prime minister was satisfied with his treatment. He also claimed that medical examinations had been carried out and that there was no reason for concern.

However, Imran Khan’s relatives rejected this claim. His sister, Aleema Khan, said the family was worried because his eyesight was not improving. She also accused authorities of blocking family access during a recent attempt to visit him.

According to the family, Imran Khan has requested that his personal doctors, including Dr Faisal Sultan and Dr Asim Hussain, be allowed to examine him. He reportedly told his family that government doctors conducted tests but did not share the results directly with him.

Meanwhile, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf also said that Imran Khan had informed his wife about his worsening eyesight and concerns over the lack of access to his own medical team.

His legal and political supporters are now urging authorities to allow independent medical examinations. They are also considering approaching the Supreme Court of Pakistan to seek permission for his personal doctors to assess his condition.

On the other hand, the government has accused opposition figures of politicizing Imran Khan’s health. Mohsin Naqvi claimed that internal disagreements within the family had delayed earlier medical examinations.

The situation has added to the ongoing tensions between the government and the opposition. The dispute highlights concerns over medical transparency, prisoner rights, and political trust.

The Imran Khan eyesight issue remains unresolved as both sides continue to stand by their positions. No official medical report has been publicly released so far to settle the conflicting claims.
