The incident reportedly took place at Lady Willingdon Hospital in Lahore. Two women were undergoing C-section surgeries at the same time. Two medical teams, led by different doctors, were present in the operation theatre.

The Health Secretary added that mobile phone use is strictly banned during patient treatment in hospitals. This rule was clearly violated in this case.
