The Nigehban Ramadan Package has been introduced by the Punjab government to provide financial relief to deserving families during the holy month. Under this programme, eligible households are receiving Rs10,000 to help manage Ramadan expenses.

Punjab Information Minister Azma Bukhari recently explained what people should do if they missed the Rs10,000 assistance under the Nigehban Ramadan Package.

She said the programme aims to support millions of families across Punjab. According to the government, more than four million households are expected to benefit from this initiative.

Azma Bukhari clarified that some eligible people might have been missed during the initial survey or registration process. Those individuals can still check their eligibility and register their complaint.

The minister advised citizens to contact the government helpline “Maryam Ko Batain” by dialing 1000. By providing their CNIC number, officials can verify eligibility and address complaints within 24 hours.

She also said the financial assistance provided under the Nigehban Ramadan Package can be withdrawn through ATMs or designated bank centres. The government has instructed authorities to ensure that no extra charges are collected from beneficiaries.

Officials have warned that strict action will be taken against anyone demanding illegal fees during the distribution process. Several cases have already been registered against violators.

The Punjab government says the Nigehban Ramadan Package is one of the largest Ramadan relief initiatives in the province. The aim is to provide direct financial support to deserving families and reduce the financial burden during Ramadan.
