Pakistan Captain’s Wife has raised her voice against online harassment following Pakistan’s loss to England in the ICC T20 World Cup 2026 Super Eight. Hours after the defeat, she urged fans to stop targeting families, especially children, when expressing frustration.

On Instagram, she posted: “Sending me or my innocent son abuse is not going to win you the World Cup Pakistani fans.”

The match defeat triggered widespread criticism of Pakistan’s performance and Salman Ali Agha’s captaincy. While post-match scrutiny is common in major tournaments, some fans reportedly crossed the line with vulgar personal attacks and threats against Agha’s family.

Her message highlighted a growing problem in Pakistan cricket, where players’ families often face online abuse. Some users even labelled her and Agha as “English agents” due to her British-Pakistani background and publicly shared her social media accounts.

Speaking after the game, Salman Ali Agha admitted Pakistan fell short of their planned innings but praised England’s performance, particularly Harry Brook, who scored a century off 51 balls and secured victory for England.

Despite the loss, Pakistan remains in semi-final contention. They must win their next match against Sri Lanka and hope for favorable results in other games to advance.
