Pakistan Iran War Mediation: Pakistan Emerges as Key Diplomatic Bridge Between US and Iran

Pakistan Iran War Mediation is becoming a major shift in the country’s foreign policy, as Islamabad moves from isolation to active diplomacy.

Pakistan, once facing global criticism, is now seen as a trusted partner. It is playing a role in efforts to reduce tensions between the United States and Iran. This marks a significant change in its international standing.

Over the past year, Pakistan’s civil and military leadership has worked closely to rebuild global trust. Field Marshal Asim Munir held multiple meetings with US President Donald Trump, including a rare one-on-one lunch at the White House.

At the same time, Pakistan improved cooperation with the US by handing over a suspect linked to attacks on American troops. This helped restore intelligence sharing between both countries.

Diplomatic efforts also increased. Pakistani officials reached out to global leaders and strengthened ties with China and Gulf countries. Analysts say this balanced approach is showing positive results.

Two key events helped rebuild trust with Washington. First, Pakistan assisted in capturing a suspect linked to the 2021 Kabul airport attack. Second, its measured response during a short conflict with India improved its global image.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and senior officials maintained frequent contact with world leaders. Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar also hosted meetings with leaders from Turkiye, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt to discuss ending the Iran conflict.

Pakistan’s growing diplomatic role is not without challenges. India has raised concerns as Islamabad gains influence in regional diplomacy. Meanwhile, Pakistan’s economy remains fragile, and experts warn of risks if the Iran conflict expands.

Analysts believe Pakistan must act carefully. While Pakistan Iran War Mediation offers global recognition, over-involvement could create new risks. A balanced and long-term strategy will be key for Islamabad moving forward.
